Cannonball: The New Duelbits Original, Explained

Cannonball is the newest Duelbits Original, and it is the first one built on the new 1.99 site. The idea is simple: a circus performer gets fired out of a cannon, flies past hoops, swings, balloons and pies that push the multiplier up or down, and either lands on a pad or misses. Land, and you get paid at whatever multiplier the flight ended on. Miss, and the bet is gone. Max win is 500x, RTP is 98%, and a round takes seconds.

Play Cannonball now in the Duelbits casino under Originals. Demo mode is free if you want to see a few flights first.

How Cannonball works

You set a bet and hit Fire. The performer launches and the multiplier starts at 1x. Along the flight path there are objects, and each one changes the multiplier when the performer hits it:

Hoops multiply the current multiplier. These are the big moves. A couple of hoops in a row is how a flight goes from 1x to 15x in a second.

Balloons add to the multiplier. Smaller, steadier gains.

Trapeze swings catch the performer and fling them further along the path, changing the trajectory and what they hit next.

Pies are the villain. A pie to the face drags the multiplier down. Take two and the game stamps CLOWNED on the screen. Pies are why a 16x flight can end at 1x, and also why the climb back up feels so good when it happens.

When the flight ends, the performer either lands on a pad or hits the ground. Pads are 20 metres wide and placed every 54 metres along the platform, and the chance of landing on one is 50%. Land and the payout is your bet times the final multiplier. Miss and the bet is lost, whatever the multiplier was. A flight can climb to 400x and still miss, which is the whole tension of the game.

Cannonball game facts

Max multiplier 500x. RTP 98%. Land chance 50%. Speed settings from 1x to 4x so you can watch every pie land or rip through rounds. Instant Bet mode skips the animation entirely and just shows the result, for players who want volume. Minimum and maximum bets follow the normal Duelbits Originals limits in your chosen coin.

The flight is decided before the performer leaves the cannon. The objects, the hits and the landing are generated server side and the animation just plays it back, which is what makes the game provably fair: you can verify every round from the fairness panel the same way as Crash, Plinko or Dice.

Why 98% RTP matters

Most slots sit between 94% and 96%. Cannonball at 98% is in the same bracket as the other Duelbits Originals, meaning the house edge is 2%. Over a long session that gap is real money. It also means rakeback on Cannonball is calculated on a small edge, so the game is cheap to play for anyone grinding Ace's Rewards. Read how Duelbits rakeback works for the mechanics.

How to play Cannonball on Duelbits

Log in or create a Duelbits account, deposit crypto (the deposit guide covers every coin), open Casino, pick Originals and select Cannonball. Set your bet, choose a speed, and hit Fire. The multiplier and the flight are shown live, and the win amount pops up on the landing sign when you touch down on a pad.

Try demo mode first. Cannonball has a very different rhythm from Crash: there is no cashout button, so you are not deciding when to leave, you are watching a flight play out. A few free rounds show you how often pies hit and what a landing looks like.

Cannonball strategy: what you can and cannot control

Be honest about the game. The multiplier path and the landing are random and verifiable, so there is no pattern to read and no timing to master. What you control is bet sizing, session length and speed.

Because the land chance is 50% and the multiplier can be anything from 0.25x to 500x, results are swingy. Bet an amount you are happy to lose 10 times in a row, because that will happen. Flat bets keep variance manageable. Chasing a miss with a bigger bet is the fastest way to turn a fun game into a bad session.

Speed is a comfort setting, not an edge. 4x and Instant Bet get through more rounds per minute, which also means more bets per minute. If you are playing for rakeback volume that is the point. If you are playing for the show, 1x and watch the pies fly.

Cannonball vs Crash

Both are multiplier games, but the feel is opposite. In Crash you decide when to cash out and the pressure is on you. In Cannonball the whole round is a reveal: you fire, the flight decides, and the only question is whether the performer lands. Crash rewards nerve. Cannonball rewards sitting back and enjoying the chaos. Plenty of players will keep both open.
